From a few years we spend several times a week during our holidays to enjoy their magnificent pastries and cakes, sandwiches, stuffed focaccia and this year also the first dishes: spectacular peas to the aglione and spaghetti to the gray. if there is a few minutes to wait for money or in its place to wait for it to be served we must consider that we are not in the frenzy of the great cities, on vacation you can also wait and take life with philosophy, especially because here it is really worth it!
Been here a couple of times and the quality of the food and service is amazing. The cakes are spectacular, and go around Christmas time when they are packaging up their famous Pantone’s and enjoy the aromas! Honestly the best focaccia sandwiches I’ve ever had and the same goes for the pizza! Such a great place literally just outside Bruil-Cervinia. After a long drive from the airport treat yourself to great quality local produce with stunning views of the mountains!!
Very nice, small restaurant near Cervinia. Amazing selection of wonderful fresh made deserts and pastries. Excellent quality in everything we ate, fantastic service with the same commitment to customer happiness that we see in most northern Italian restaurants.
My previous review was from 2017. After 7 years, a few things have changed in the menu and other details, of course there are a few more gray hairs for all of us, but the fundamental feel and ethos of this place are the same: high quality stuff, you pay accordingly, personnel spans the whole range from lovely to perennially gruff and grumpy. We went for a lunch and a breakfast, both excellent, with top produce, but I would say that the breakfast is the pinnacle of quality here. Go very early in the morning and you 'll avoid the main crowds and get the still warm delicious breakfast items, some of them, like the doughnuts, filled on the spot to enjoy the pastry work at its best (these are the details make the difference! . At lunch or late breakfast in high season, be prepared to wait a bit and to have some missing items (but there are so me any good things here that certainly you won 't starve . In a valley that unfortunately features so much mediocrity in terms of food offering, this forno remains a unique beacon of quality.
