Poncho’s And Grill - Vancouver

Would love to rate their food but never got the chance. Showed up on a Sunday, waited in line to speak with the host, she took our name and entered us into the system, got my text stating 30 minutes to seating and would receive another text when it's time to eat. We sat in the car waiting, went back in to check and were told a table should clear soon. That was three days ago, never received a seating notification. I wish Provecho was open on Sunday's.

Maybe their other food is good but we got the seafood soup and it was not good at all. Broth tasted like top ramen broth and was luke warm. Way too overpriced for the quality of food that you get and the service you get. Took about 30 mins to order food although it was dead in there and about an hour to get our food. Disappointed

Tried to just drop in for a beer. Was met by the bouncer immediately and told no. He spoke zero English. Shortly after I was met by a 2nd man. So now it 's 2 men refusing entrance. Shortly after it 's some kid with sparkly shoes. Looked good. Hey, **** off you can 't come in . Because I 'm white? Yes.

I stopped here after a day of fun in the sun and boy did it hit the spot. I ordered ceviche, a side of rice and chips and guacamole. My only complaint is it was so good I ate too much. They have a lot of seafood items on their menu I would like to go back and try. I recommend checking it out, the ceviche would be great to put in a cooler for a picnic on a hot day. Also, their chips were fresh and nice n thick..... all so yummy!!
