Baru Latino - Vancouver

Had dinner here tonight and everything was very good! Our service was very friendly and attentive, it was so nice to see all the servers that come working and separated from our dining room experience, all were nice and had great food suggestions. The food was just delicious! Had the Baru Ceviche to start because it was only the best and then tapas-style order everything came out hot, tasteful and perfect timing between the courses! Shout to the chefs really worn for us: can not wait to come back!

I was in Baru over the last three years. The location is great, accessible and safe. I love the intimate size of the restaurant and the servers are all very attentive. I was recently there for a restaurant breakout for a wedding and was impressed by the transformation of the room. The food and service was great and the value was phenomenal for this type of event. I would definitely consider hosting other events here and I'm sure I'm back with friends and customers.

Their happy hours are awesome. Good selection of drinks and some unique tapas. Vegetarian options are few so keep that in mind.

Food was okay, but great ambiance and service. There’re plenty of street parkings around the area too. The ceviche was very light, not too much flavour, so it’s great for people who just want a healthier snack. The short ribs were better than all the other dishes we ordered!

It's a good spot to eat Latin food if you want to stay away from the traditional Mexican food
