Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe papaya salad took me back to travelling Thailand! We all shared a number of the curries which were also amazing! A great spot if you're craving some authentic Thai flavours
I have ordered beef with ginger for lunch. The service was good. The little salad side was very fresh, much better than many high end Vancouver restaurants. The ginger beef- just forget it, Bob. Was it even Thai? Judging from the good reviews of this restaurant the real Thai cook was not in.
Good spot close to home. They do get busy during weekend peak hours. For a take out, give them at least 30 minutes.
We go to both the Broadway and the Main location occasionally if we're craving Thai food. I usually order the Thai green curry chicken, no eggplant, sub bell peppers. Their Pad Thai is pretty good too. I'm not a fan of their spring rolls, just taste like the generic frozen ones. The "fish and chips" was interesting, deep fried black thai rice and cod I think. Basically, I like going there if I want a relatively quick meal, it's not the best, but it's not bad either. The service is usually decent and the room is ok.. I prefer the main street location because the tables and chairs are better, the one on broadway has these old rickety wooden benches that are really uncomfortable. My only real criticism would be the quality of vegetables they use, recently had the beef with ginger and the mushrooms were old and black, and the red bell peppers were a little slimy. Again, not the best, but it is relatively fast and the quality is pretty consistent. We'll probably be back next time we're craving thai, just wish they would stay open a bit later!
Good food....but on the slower side but nice to take my time and enjoy my food. Tasty, water was refilled quickly and plentiful.
