Avaliação da contribuiçãoI ate at many places this type of food, but this is my favorite. I love it thanks to breathing for the great service
Gojo is a small gem of a restaurant that is worth finding. look for his tiny filial along the east side of the commercial drive, south of the 12th a very cozy and comfortable little place with interesting, appetizing and probably unknown eating. don't leave them. that they will expose the waiter will be happy to explain the menu. the vegetarian plate divided with but many people they want, is served on a large pancake, with decorative small puppies of spinat, lenses and beans. most of these small flavors are hearty, but some are slightly hot. no utensils are required, they are served with smaller pieces of pancakes to the veggies with. very tasty and satisfying, it is a good opportunity to eat with friends. only one thing mystifies me. why is gojo little africa not packed every day? I can only assume that it is because people have not found it. excellent eating, excellent service, very reasonable prices. What's that supposed to be? You'll be glad you did it.
This family run cafe serves the BEST Ethiopian food in the city. The village atmosphere is cute, the service is always personable and attentive, and I never want to stop eating because everything tastes SO GOOD, every single time. If you've never eaten Ethiopian food, the...server will be very helpful in finding dishes you will enjoy. The traditional bread, injera, is flavourful, has great mouth feel, and is gluten free made from a grain called teff . If you are sensitive to spice, they can accommodate that. If you like rosemary, garlic, red yellow green peppers, onions... you will be thrilled by Ethiopian cuisine. There are lots of vegan veggie options and use lentils in several dshes. There are many options for carnivores too. The prices are also really good. If you are looking for a solid dining experience, you will have it at Gojo Cafe!
Gojo is a fabulous addition to the limited number of Ethiopian and Eritrean establishments on the east side. The food is impeccable, as is the service, although it is not clear as what the establishment's prospects will be in this relatively off beat location on the...Drive. But if you like Ethiopian food, give the place a try it's really worth it!
