Avaliação da contribuiçãoI came across Hokkaido Ramen through yelp when my girlfriend and I found out that Kintaro was closed on the day we visited.
Oh my Ramen! Where on earth do you have butter as a side order to add into your bowl of ramen? Apparently, right here in Hokkaido Ramen Santouka! _We
Love this place! Hate the line ups so I will only go when there's a very small line up which means you go right after work or midday.
Stopped here for a late dinner with my daugther. We were on the way home when we passed by this location. I knew the downtown location was popular, so we decided to give it a try. It was near 8:30pm, and there was lineup. We were the 3rd group in line, so we had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes for a table. We shared a combination that included:- Miso Ramen - probably the best ramen I've ever had. Noodles were perfect texture, and the miso broth had deep rich flavors without being too salty. The meat was actually nice and tender (the few times I've had ramen at other restaurants, it tends to dry out). Large size was adequate amount for me.- Grilled Salmon Rice - I had a few bites, and it was OK. My daughter liked it.- Japanese Cream Soda Float - nothing special, other than it was greenService was friendly, but minimal and rushed. Not sure if they were understaffed, but there was a moment when 4 tables (including ours) were clearly finished and waiting for a bill and there was no staff to be seen for 10 minutes. That gets really expensive when you use street parking! Room is nice. Street parking is difficult to find, but parking might be available in the pay lot at the back of the building.I'm not a ramen fan myself, but found the ramen to be very good. So I definitely recommend for people who like ramen if you don't mind the wait and paying for parking. But if you don't really love ramen, it's probably not worth the wait or the cost to visit because there aren't much alternative items to order.
