Avaliação da contribuiçãoThis place! I noticed line ups a few nights after barre class so I took the hubby. I don't even LIKE ice cream. being allergic to dairy doesn't help. But we tried their vegan option of the day which was a chocolate malt- and WOW. We actually went back the next day but they had sold out! We fought over every last drop in the cup. I don't know if it's the liquid nitrogen process or what, but the texture is like a cool icing. It's to die for. They have rotating flavors and make every single ice cream in front of you ... I hear the creme brûlée actually gets a sugar crust topping! I love that the cones are black too. Stop here! It's $$ but well worth it.
They have seasonal flavours that change all the time, but I like the standard crème brûlée one because of the delicious caramelized layer. The store itself is beautifully minimal and very close to Yaletown station. The ice cream cup itself is quite small but still worth a try if you've never had nitrogen ice cream before.
Holy cow - this is probably some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I got the vegan chocolate and you would never guess it was vegan if you didn't know. Each flavor is made on order in a Kitchen Aid type mixer using liquid nitrogen. There is one size only (except for pints to go) and it was $8.40 CAD $(6.50 US) but it's worth it! It was so good I went back the next night - wish there was one near me!
My friends had the thai tea ice cream and were very happy with it. I had the strawberry chocolate ice cream sandwich and it was amazing. The strawberry ice cream was great and the cookie was delicious.
The ice cream sandwich with creme brulee ice cream was torched with powdered sugar and was just great to the taste. nicely done. the ice cream flavors tasted however were just so so.
