Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe loved our meal. We ate an excellent butter chicken. The sauce was spicy slightly, naam bread and rice succulent! Good price!
This is one of the rare establishments that offers both Northern/Punjabi dishes and Southern Indian ones. A rarity since the lion's share of South Asian restaurants in North America typically offer the former and/or Pakistani dishes. We had wanted to partake in this exception since our first visit on Father's Day. On our return, our hearts sank when our server informed us that batter for the dosas (thin, crispy and crepe like) and uttapams (thick and more akin to a pancake) would take at least 30 minutes. We consoled ourselves with the classic starter Medhu Vada $(6.99) A dense savoury fried lentil donught which is sided by a chutney and sambar. Sambar being the ubiquitously present Southern Indian dish which is often described as a lentil soup or chowder but functions more as a dipping sauce whose flavour is enhanced with tamarind. The subcontinent's equivalent to soy sauce. Since on every one of my visits to a regional South Indian restaurant, it's omnipresent. This may be a vegetarian dish but light would not be an apt description for it. Like any fried dish, it'll take your tummy some time to digest it. Which is not a criticism but friendly guidance as to what to expect.
Bombay Touch has a pleasant ambiance with crisp linens, attractive furnishings, and decor. Their mango lassi is fantastic- not too sweet, thick, tangy, fruity. Their naan is fantastic. I love the non-vegetarian Thali platter (which comes with butter chicken as the main dish) and the chicken tikka masala was also delicious. Major props to the servers as well. Everyone I've met has been friendly, attentive, and polite.
My husband and I went in for a late lunch . I enjoyed this meal immensely. It had layers of flavour, it tasted truly authentic and unbelievable delicious . This was one of the best meals I have had ever ! The service was great . I cannot wait to go back.
My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today. We had planned on going to Anthony's but it is now permanently closed but we were thrilled with the alternative.
