It seemed like they were the only ones working after the day crowd from the amusement park came over for the Halloween haunt. It was extremely busy, like really busy. Despite the hectic atmosphere, my husband raved about how delicious his burger was. I believe these two deserve extra recognition for their hard work during that shift. Great job!
I recently tried the new Nashville Hot Chicken Poutine at this restaurant. The food was prepared quickly, but it seemed like they accidentally made a regular poutine instead. They added a few unflavorful chicken fingers and pickles on top. The portion of chicken fingers was small considering the price, and they forgot to sauce it with Nashville Hot sauce. I had to ask for the sauce separately, and they seemed confused. It was disappointing that they essentially told me to sauce it myself. The poutine itself was tasty, as is typical for Hero Certified Burger, but the service was lacking on this occasion.
The issue I encountered at this restaurant was that when I inquired about the plant-based nuggets, I was informed that they are fried in the same oil as the chicken and fish, as well as the fries which are also cooked in the same oil as the meat.
I ordered the 4 oz Hero Burger with cheese combo, which came with fries (you also have the option of choosing onion rings or salad). The Hero Burger was delicious! The patty was moist and juicy, though I remember it tasting even better the first time I tried it. The fries were a bit disappointing as they were not as crispy as I would have preferred.
Problem is I asked the stuff and they told me the plant based nuggets are fried in the same oil as the chicken and fish along with the fries also in the same oil with the meat. Very
