Avaliação da contribuiçãoThat is the restaurant of the hotel mas de vence, and it is a very good Italian restaurant with excellent dining and service. the grilled trout is particularly good, and the Italian dishes are authentic. it's worth a visit.
This is our third visit to la table du mas. let me first mention that there are free parking spaces on the hotel parking lot. the atmosphere is a typical French restaurant and the waiting staff are excellent, each will discuss in detail their menu...the participants in French, English, Italian or German. the magret de canard is prepared with fruit from its own garden. yes, they prepare a lot of their products with fruit and vegetables from their own garden. fish dishes are boned next to their table a beautiful professional note. their dessert table is located in the center of the escaping area, so they can choose from several delicious products that the cook will prepare with care to produce their wonderful meal. desserts are all homemade and they need to change their tropezienne, plum pudding or strawberry tart desserts, depending on what fruits are in season. I mentioned that her house wine is delicious and it comes through the glass, half liter or liter. many of their menu items are only available in this part of france.

I wasn't staying at the hotel, it was simply a lunch. We went here because my friend knew they served couscous which he had not very good was the verdict. I had cassoulet as it was a typically rainy day and it must have...been out of a can. If it wasn't, the chef should have been sacked. One dry sausage, a piece of ham which had seen better days, a bit of duck and some beans. And at euros it wasn't particularly cheap! This main course might not have been enough for me to prompt this review until I had the dessert, Laid out on a table in the centre of the restaurant, they were a sorry sight, dried and obviously left over from days before. I should have refused but curiosity got the better of me and I had Parisian Flan. Soggy pastry and dried custard left a lot to be desired. It's not worth even mentioning the service which was ok but a waiter who could have got another job would have left a long time ago as no doubt they don't get many tips.
Excellent food, nothing fancy fresh, high quality ingredients, freshly cooked, a varied menu and a very tempting dessert options (make sure you leave enough space). Starters are around Euro, main courses around Euros.
