After reading the ingredients on this dishes, I realized they were not vegan at all as they contained cream cheese, eggs, and mayo. We opted for the vegan sushi dish. Please note that the vegan sushi contains cream cheese. We informed the staff that we wanted the vegan sushi dish plain, without any cream or mayo in our rolls. They sushi dish came out beautifully! We enjoyed it with soy sauce and wasabi.
They told us that they had vegan options which we then ordered and then it turned out that Ive got a sauce with creme in it. Didnt even apologize. My wife ordered a dish where she just wanted the fish to be left out. But then forgot some other ingredients.
Staff didn't know about vegan options and was overchallenged. Then they proposed Spaghetti with tomato sauce, after I asked if there would be also something else the waiter proposed the Spaghetti w seafood without seafood and without sauce (to veganize it) after I mentioned that this sounds very dry I proposed a pizza without cheese but with some veggies and green pepper. He confirmed but didn't write it down and I already expexted what was coming next. I got the pizza later and of course the green pepper was missing. Altogether it was “ok“ but wouldn't recommend to go there, there are better places in Venice for vegan food. Also my vegetarian boyfriend was not convinced from his pizza.
We went for the advertised lunch offer, everything you can eat for 14 or 15 EUR, depending on whether you use the buffet for self-service (coffee) or order at the table. I would recommend ordering at the table because when you can adjust any meal. You will get an order list in which you select the number of foods you choose from the menu, and there is much to choose when it comes to sushi and other Asian starters. The staff is known about veganism and recommended us to write for example vegan, without salmon, etc. what we did. Avocado California Sushi was one of the best I ever had. We also enjoyed the Wakame salad, tempura vegetables and miso soup all unlimited. The staff was attentive and often came after new orders. We stayed very happy.
