Gelato Fantasy San Giovanni - Venice

You can find serval of this chain around Venice. Vegan gelato that are clearly marked on the menu. You can even request a vegan cone for 1 eur extra. Friendly staff that speaks English. A bit expensive but normal for a city like Venice. Updated from previous review on 2024-04-24

I looove gelato and it was so amazing to find a vegan pistachio flavour! This place is an easy find, popular and has very obvious vegan options listed. The dark chocolate flavour was so rich so even if you’re a huge chocolate fan (which I Defo am) I would recommend getting it with another flavour. The portions are so generous too!

When I was there they had several vegan flavours beyond fruit sorbets; I tried pistachio and almond and both were good. (But €4 for a small cup with two flavours seemed a bit pricey to me.

They seem to not be able to order single creatures, but must have at least 2. (for four euro) the ice was good, but nothing special. I was looking forward to the pistachio ice cream, but it tasted a kind of bland.

This place offers many aromes. we have tried pistachios, lemon, banana, strawberry and dark chocolate. it was fantastic! pure fantasy!
