Avaliação da contribuiçãoIt's a coffee house where the owner roasts a wide variety of coffee beans. You won't find better coffee anywhere else. The owner is incredibly friendly and down to earth. I've been going there for at least six years!
As soon as you step through the door, the aroma of freshly roasted coffee envelops you like a warm embrace. The shop has a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere reminiscent of a grandmother's house. The coffee itself is excellent, made from beans roasted right on-site. My only suggestion would be to include Flavor and Aroma Profile descriptions on the bins of fresh beans for sale. The staff is friendly and the vibe is no-nonsense.
I stopped by Kevin's Coffee Roasters in the mid-afternoon and noticed only one person working—maybe it was Kevin? There were also two locals having a nice chat, which made the atmosphere feel welcoming. This review is focused solely on the coffee I ordered, as I didn't purchase any beans. Based on other reviews, those might be good. Unfortunately, the coffee I received was the worst I've ever had—no exaggeration. It tasted like old, watered-down coffee. Perhaps mid-afternoon isn't the best time to expect freshly brewed coffee at Kevin's. I would recommend visiting in the morning instead. I tried to sweeten it up to avoid wasting it, but it was just impossible. I ended up getting a coffee from Dunkin' down the street. I really prefer to support small businesses, so this was disappointing for me.
After being away from the state for over 20 years, I was really looking forward to a hot cup of coffee. It was the best coffee I've ever had. The service is always excellent!
Today, I visited Kevin's and had the beer. I opted for it black, and it was remarkably smooth. I highly recommend checking it out!
