The looks and location goes with the quality of sushi. Although we did not not dine in, we got take out. We ordered a party tray that had maki sushi and nigiri sushi, they quality was poor. For sushi, the rice should have a certain texture and a certain percentage to compliment the ingredients, this was not the case. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. Unfortunately would not recommend.

My family and I had one of the platters, which was six rolls for $50. Not a bad price for that amount of sushi. The rolls were good, but very similar to one another. There wasn't a lot of variety of flavour, and we often couldn't tell which roll we were eating.The place is easy to miss, as it's inside a motel, but there's plenty of clear signage. The decor is dated, but the motel it's in looks straight out of the '60s, so I suppose that's par for the course.

We've been staying at the tiki village every year for several years now. Ok, about 22 years to be exact. We come here as a team to play in the yearly Funtastic tournament.We have seen quite a few restaurants during this time in the courtyard at the Tiki Village, and this one has been here the longest. We usually order take out and eat it on the picnic benches in front of our rooms. This year we got cali rolls, tuna rolls, salmon rolls, and some beef yakisoba. Everything was fresh and tasty. some of the other guys got some special rolls and said they were delish! It's been good every year and no ones ever complained. Friendly staff as well. Looks a little sketchy from the outside, and it's in the back courtyard of a motel, but if you can look past all that, it's pretty good and safe to eat. We're all from the lower mainland and eat a lot of sushi. Don't expect Miku or Guu or Hapa. But if you're looking for simple, good sushi. Go here.

Beautiful outdoor garden sitting area. Friendly service. Fresh and tasty food. It was very creatively displayed and looked beautiful. The sauces were tasty. Great experience.

The food was poor , the rice was warm in the rolls yuck!!! The portions were small, we've eaten a lot of sushi and I would never go back.
