Brandy's - Vicksburg

Really good onion rings! Three of us got the catfish basket. (You also have fish and shrimps. The onion rings and loaded potato were good. Avoid seafood in this place. Had thought the fish were as close to the catfish farms as this place.

Great place for lunch when we passed thru Vicksburg. The fried catfish, onion rings and fried green tomatoes will not disappoint. We'll be back when we get here.

Looking for a dinner on Monday night. Most places were closed, but we found this place open. Had to feel a good rustic hole in the wall. Had some different options on the menu. We had a BLT with roasted green tomatoes and of course the Vicksburg Burger (a burger between 2 grilled cheese). They came on paper plates, so you don't expect anything nice here. But don't worry, both were very good and the service was excellent. Overall we were very happy and would come back. Note that they allow smoking in a half with large smoke eaters to deal with it. Not long ago.

It is a dipping bar, you will get what you expect when you think that. God wants big, but it was also not bad. We had fried green tomatoes, fried catfish w/ onion rings, and the bath Bob (hamburger stake on frits top w/ Gravy and onions). Soda came into a can. Water was a bottle. The service was about as expected from a bar. Hasn't hated, probably won't go back. Decor and appearance was different from the app.

Sketchy on the outside, no frills on the inside, food was good… caution they allow smoking inside on one half of the bar so be aware if that is something that bothers you.. overall we had the burgers, they were good and the hand cut fries were my favorite part..definitely a local dive bar
