Ruby Tuesday - Vidalia

Ruby dienstag overall is a cover of what it was once. this particular situation was the best option for my family at the top of the moment, but we wish we had gone elsewhere. the restaurant was quite clean, so we were not disgusting, but eating was simply disappointing. overcooked chicken strips, sloppy grilled zucchini, underwhelming salmon. etc. if they want to eat good, they probably want to go somewhere else.

The front end staff member was very nice and friendly. Upon arrival we were told that they were behind and short staffed so that even once we were sat at a table it would take about 30 mins to get our server to our table. We were ok with that and so they sat us. The server was also nice and friendly she took are drink order and came back promptly. Then she took out food order and it did take a whlie but the food tasted really good. It actually exceeded my expectations. The salad bar has a plastic glove policy which they provide so you can grab the tongs with it and select your items. I thought that was a great idea. Overall good visit

I am from out of town but used to frequent this restaurant a lot but it's been about a year since I was here last .However, my last visit was extremely disappointing. Floors were dirty, upholstery on furniture was ripped, and bartender was doing her best to keep up but couldn't quite pull it off.Each new customer was greeted by call in or dining in? if you're dining in, it's gonna be awhile before I get to you . Food was flavorless and staff was slow. Vidalia Ruby Tuesday you can do better.

Really good service, salad bar was pretty fresh and food was ok. Restaurant is tired, grimy to the point the menus stuck when trying to open them Why 4 stars? Really good service. I feel bad not getting our servers name but she was funny, quick and friendly.

The Gentlemen that was working as a host was very friendly and greeting us. This is why I gave it 4 stars. I think his name was Jerry . As for the waitresses they were ok. The cooks on the other hand could use a thing or two. First the order took a long time to make it to the table. Once it arrived it the whole order had to be sent back because the food was burnt and the portion size of the meal was very small for the price. Again I give it a 4 star for the host and the waitresses. If it was based on the cooks that might be a different story!!!
