Avaliação da contribuiçãoGreat service. low key arta bar and steakhouse nothing really pretentious. the seasoned were great, but some of the foods were less than great. salmon was obviously frozen. I should know better. steak was rarely ordered and was in the rare. I wasn't bad, but I was a dark red. next time medium surely rare.
Don’t order the onion soup. It doesn’t have onions. When I inquired about it the waiter brought a small cup of chives.
I was in Villa Rica for two nights. I was looking for a place close to the hotel to walk and get some dinner. I found Brother's on Google.I ate at Brother's both nights. The ribeye I had the first night was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly. It was the best steak I have had at a restaurant. Period. The second night (because the first night's meal was so good) I went back and ordered the pork chops. They too were cooked perfectly, and had excellent flavor! The side dishes were great both nights. You must get the green beans and the Fire Corn!Lastly, but most importantly, I sat at the bar where I was welcomed by Donelle. Her attitude and service was impeccable.Did I mention, your food is cooked on a wood fired grill, located inside the restaurant where you can see your food being prepared.Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.
First impressions of this steakhouse were not good to begin with, they sat us on the enclosed patio where they were smoking...strike 1. The place is so small and they had what sounded like a jazz band (they were good) playing and it was way to loud. People screaming over each other just to hear or have a conversation. They moved us to inside the building but with no air conditioning going, the patio door wide open and fans blowing every which way they filtered all the cigarette smoke and smell into the restaurant.....GROSS! I felt like I was smoking one with them. The people eventually left the patio but the smell was already there. Now, the food sort of made up for the nasty cigarette smell and the general loudness of the bar, yes it is a steakhouse bar! I had the Chop House hamburger steak and it was good, could have used a touch more seasoning, I also had a baked potato which was nice and hot and good and a side salad. My husband had the same thing. I had my gravy on the side and Im glad I did because it was kind of funky. It was very thick, salty and just tasted weird, it wasnt for me. My father must have liked it because it was covering everything. My mom had The Dipper and she said it was very good and had a lot of flavor. My brother had the steak and cheese and he said it was very good. All in all the 3 stars I gave this place was what I felt they deserved because of the smoke and loudness. But what I was mainly concerned about was that there were children in this bar that smelled like cigarettes. After all is said and done the ultimate question would be would I go back and the answer to that would probably be a hard NO! The cigarette smoke did it for me.
At first I was going to ask the name of the greeter because her politness and genuine smile made me feel immediately welcome even knowing they were closing within the hour. But then I quickly noticed every single person working there was awesome, cleaniness and serving was shared by everyone including the owner, who by the way, was cooking the meat right out for everyone to see! Food was outstanding! The corn on the cob is a must try! If you are passing thru don't pass up the opportunity to try this place!! I'm sure the locals already love the place!
