Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe food was great, although much was very sharp. There was a great variety to choose so no one would be disappointed. The peach cherries were a little dry and the shrimps need to be removed, but the rest was perfect. I'm not a catfish fan because I can taste ALWAYS the dirt, but for the first time I didn't taste any dirt so that it was a great first. It was very delicious. Wait the staff wasn't good. Our server that looked like Anjelica Huston's twin was very nice. She helped us with everything we needed and didn't float like a few waiting employees in other places. If I lived in Louisiana, I would make it a regular stop.
We live approx. 1.5 hours away and decided to try this place after the ads on Facebook. We had waited almost 2 hours, and as soon as we got our table, it was the survival of the fit test to get crab legs. People stood at the end of the buffet to wait for the refills of snow crabs and stack their plates so high, there was no one left. It says something about the customers, not the restaurant. Everything I had from the buffet was very good. Would we go back? Not soon. Warm, especially if we couldn't get access to the snow crabs. That was the main reason for going!
I went for the crab night. The food was all delicious, but I was very disappointed that I couldn't get a Dungeness crab as they ran out inseparably. Also a little boy was on the buffet to camp and as soon as a snow scrap was pulled out, he packed everything he could to bring back to the people at his table. When they leave the left several full plates of shrimp and crab that he had inseparable for them, but they never disturbed to eat.
Good place to eat. Not as bad as many make it to be. Good selection of boiled and fried seafood. The seasons are moderate...and made to satisfy all in general... not only the picky that has to have it over the top. The selection and prices are appropriate. Just eat what you enjoy and don't touch what you don't want. I would definitely come back! Good stuff!
