Dorka's - Vine Creek

During a brief business trip to Mackay, Queensland, I stayed at Quest and received good service. Dinner at Dorkas was impressive, with the duck dish being superb. Even the churros for dessert were well done, which surprised me as I normally only enjoy them in Spain. I believe the chef's name is Tolsten. I checked TripAdvisor reviews and was dismayed by one negative review, but in my opinion, this restaurant deserves better feedback. This is the first time I have ever written a review, but I felt compelled to do so because of the excellent experience. Best of luck to the team at Dorkas.

It tasted like all the ingredients and meat was from Coles. It wasn't anything special and was pretty standard. You can go other places close to the area. Not worth the money. Customer service was ok. They need to get better in order to get customers

The coffee is great, but be prepared for a lengthy wait if you order food. However, the meal is delicious and well-priced. It's a convenient option for those staying at Quest on Macalister Street.

I had breakfast one morning at this place. The yogurt and coffee were excellent and reasonably priced. They open early, which is convenient if you need to head to work or get on the highway.
