Avaliação da contribuiçãoI use to think other Chinese places in town were good until I (very late in life) stumbled onto cantons.
Amazing authentic Cantonese Chinese food. Just like how I remember it with my parents back in the 60's and 70's
On a positive note, the Peking spareribs were pretty good, although they arrived about 30 minutes after the first two dishes. The service was acceptable, but if the cold soup was her oversight, then it definitely wasn't ideal. The temperature of the soup makes a big difference, especially on a chilly day when you really want something warm. The ambiance felt chaotic; all the tables were crowded with leftover food and dirty dishes. There were about 7 or 8 people in the kitchen—perhaps they could have come out to help clean and clear the tables? It’s disappointing because this place used to be one of the best Chinese restaurants in Visalia, but it seems those days are behind us. Such a shame!
The food is super great tasting, great flavor and perfect texture. The servers are very helpful and friendly. The place is a little bit run down but still nice.
I went during the week at lunch time to try this place on my lunch break. The ambiance: It was not busy at all it was quiet and we. It did not disappoint. I had a lunch special that had orange chicken beef broccoli chow mein and fried rice. My thing is chow mein. You have to have good chow mein and this place had it. The service was fine, waitress was nice. Now I have two great options restaurant wise to choose from. This place and new star China. I'll definitely come back to dine in would love to try their other plates.
