Damme Kro - Vordingborg

The size and taste are simply one of the best you can find. And the Inn has been in the family for generations. Go and try.

If after a place with good food and familiar service on the route North/South here it is. I recommend the fish or the 'House plate' croet, which is a selection of local Danish foods. The prices are moderate and the price performance is very good. I couldn't be here for a romantic dinner with a beautiful view, but well worth the detour.

We live nearby and often visited Damme Kro. This is a very traditional Inn that serves typical dishes such as frying pan, steaks, Wienerschnitzel and stew. The place is also known for their fried aal (if you specifically go for how many do, then most likely to ask by phone first). The inn often houses larger parties, but usually a serving room is reserved for other visitors. The staff that the owner and his daughter usually are always friendly and accomodating. You will not let this place starve, food is plentiful and well prepared.

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere. But you can not consider using the table as we sat. The table was placed almost monasteries up and the end of the restaurant. It was right to sit and eat when the door goes up and at the same time with a number from a time. Experience in an otherwise cozy restaurant.

Eated andesteg with everything that belongs to, everything served on the table, also dessert rice a lama de, then coffee with homemade wreath cake, so delicious everything together, the finest operation, Thanks for there is still a good old kro. Visited 11-11-22 on.18. Hilsen Irene Blaase
