Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe ate at the terrace at 4 and it was good without saying that it is essential. The map is small so I would have hoped a little more taste. There's not a lot of room so rather ideal for a drink. The price quality ratio is in my sense relatively expensive
Despite the lack of loos (you have to cross the road), this is a very friendly and welcoming café-bar. For a small fee, they give you the key to the Melusine Tower, from which their is a wonderful view of the village and surrounding area.
We were surprised to find this cafe open as all info on-line had said it would be closed. It is closed on Thursdays! We went elsewhere for lunch and came to Vouvant for a look around so we just had a coffee here. The menu looked OK and it has a lovely position close to the tower. We'll try eating another time.
Excellent pizzas, welcoming and pleasant, fast service, nice and warm decor, good atmosphere. What to spend a very nice little moment away from the unrest of the world. What more do we ask?
This is a typical Jack-of-all-trades modern bistro-type French cafe. It's great for a morning coffee, good for lunch, afternoon refreshments, or evening drinks. It's under new ownership, and Louis is a great barman. The food menu is limited, but everything is tasty, if a little more expensive than other places around. But what makes this place is the ambiance. It's as popular with the local French community as it is with the local ex-pats, and in it's great location in Vouvant - a tourist-magnet as well.PS, it's also a Cafe-Tabac, so smokers like me can stock up with fags if you've run out!
