Avaliação da contribuiçãoWailuku McD: great food/drink/cofee... in fact it is the LEAST EXPENSIVE McD on Maui except the minimum dollar menu: all others are 50% more expensive... for EVERYTHING!. ALL McD COFFEE IN HAWAII IS SUPERIOR KONA COFFEE... not on the mainland. Note: All McDs in Maui have a high employee exchange rate, so CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING... often incorrect.
Charming and brand new, the staff are amazing and friendly, they have nice free ice water, any size drinks are still one dollar. Did I mention the wonderful staff!!!! They have a functioning bathroom
There are a few quirks at this restaurant, but they are easily manageable. For instance, I've had issues with the drive-thru orders—sometimes my breakfast plate has arrived without the hash browns, or I've gotten meal orders without fries. I recommend checking your order before you leave, or better yet, dining inside to avoid any misunderstandings. The location also offers a nice incentive to park and eat in the restaurant, but it can be tricky to navigate the parking lot when entering or exiting. Another concern is the presence of homeless individuals in the area, which seems to be a common issue for many McDonald's locations; it appears to attract a lot of traffic, possibly due to the affordability. Overall, I find little to improve upon at this establishment. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch break or just a chilled cup of water on the go, this McDonald's is a solid choice. If you're in Wailuku and seeking fast, affordable food, this spot is definitely worth a visit.
It was an average experience. The service was efficient and professional, but it felt like they were under a lot of pressure. Given the circumstances of COVID, that's understandable. The entire operation seems to be focused on efficiency, which places a heavy burden on the staff—something I think is unfair considering their wages. Generally, the service at fast food restaurants in Hawaii tends to be better now than it was a decade ago, but there's still room for improvement.
Just a heads up: the food service is currently unavailable to the public. There are many homeless individuals around the McDonald's in Wailuku city center. Unfortunately, it's located near a bridge that leads to a warehouse area where many homeless people gather. As a result, it's common to see them in the vicinity.
