Ishihara Market - Waimea

After reading about their poke, had to stop for lunch on the way back from Waimea Canyon. Ordered 1/2 lb each of Spicy Ahi and Shoyu Ahi plus 1/2 lb

We had heard from the locals and others that Ishihara Market has THE best poke on the island.

After checking out Waimea Canyon we need a quick lunch to take back to our resort.

Popular and busy market, but they have everything. I heard great things about her poke from natives. had my share of poke and definitiw the best poke I had! we also bought 2 cocose nuts and they changed for cold from their refrigerator. this is a must and return for my poke fix, if we hopefully have a tradition on the island.
