Avaliação da contribuiçãoWe loved the food absolutely! The tuna was so good, definitely my favorite. And the Gnocchi (not shown) is a must! It is important to understand that tapas should come from the kitchen staggered. It is best to share and taste everything. Enjoy a little bite with ? and relax in between. I agree with some of the reviews that the restaurant is louder than expected for tapas, but its still a very pleasant experience.
Bummed that we didn?t like it. Service was great! Food however was simple. We ordered everything on the menu that sounded good to us. As it was my wife?s birthday, we weren?t holding back in what we ordered. However, Nothing really stood out as complex or worth the money they were charging. We ordered roughly 10 tapas but even for tapas I feel the portions were small. I hate to admit it but I went home and a sandwich? that?s not what an evening of going out is supposed to be like.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Literally every dish was cooked to perfection! I have to elaborate because I?ve never had steak cooked that perfect from ANYWHERE! The chicken has the perfect amount of burn and tenderness at the same time. It?s easy to run up a tab here so expect to spend about $100 for 2.
This is my second trip to this restaurant on a whim of a date night. In the past it has not come to the top of our list because my wife is gluten-free and we didn?t know how things would be handled. They had a dedicated gluten-free menu and we?re excellent to educate us on the menu. Besides that the food was spectacular and I am very picky when it comes to food. I had the grilled octopus but the star of everything was the broccoli yes I said the broccoli! Also I love a good rum and they had a fantastic selection. I loved the look and feel and ambience of the space. I highly highly recommend you visit Bodega we will be coming back again very soon??
From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The bartender helped me pick the right wine to go with the mix of tapas I was about dive into. The house red was the perfect blend. Can we talk about those empanadas and cilantro crema? The dough is crispy and flaky with a luscious fragrant meaty interior. The crema adds an herbaceous pop. The shrimp, lamb meatballs, and the salad amazing. Then there?s the desserts. Yes, I had two. The buttermilk tart and the chocolate mousse. Entirely worth every calorie. Lovely staff, great service, and excellent food. The highlight of my short getaway. I wish I?d taken some empanadas to go but they likely wouldn?t have made it out my hotel room ;
