Avaliação da contribuiçãoFirst timers. This must have had a refit as a real deep carpet was on the floor and there were some signs on the walls about a refit.Great mixed starters and onion bhaji were balls with plenty of real sliced onions. Main courses were very nice and plenty of choice. Good friendly service and good prices. We normally go to the royal spice in Darton which hard to beat. This was was as good as good with prices to match.
Came here in a group of 4, arrived around 11pm on a Saturday night by chance, as we decided we were hungry and this was the nearest curry house. Staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Menu was extensive and the quality of the food was superb. Really good value for money too, around £20 a head to include starters and a large bottle of beer each.
We called here early evening after a visit to the nearby Theatre Royal. Being early, the restaurant was quiet and we had a choice of tables. The food was very good and all of the staff were helpful and friendly. This was our first visit, but we will certainly be back
The last three times I have dined here it has been an absolute pleasure. The staff and service are excellent as is the menu.I return for Chicken Jalfrezi which , alongside the mixed kebab starter, is a must. The depth of flavour and the subtlety of spices is remarkable. I have dined here many times with parties up to eight and everyone has been most satisfied.Nothing is too much trouble and they cater for Gluten Free diets. The restraurant decor may be looking tired but there is a price to pay for the removal of character. Such a good welcoming place.
Stayed at wakefield for one night, so chose to eat out, found this restaurant, almost in centre of wakefield, surrounding area is industrial, parking a bit tight, but great meal and really cheap, very quiet. Only £19.00 for sarter, nan, main and a beer.
