Hotel Le Cigalon is the perfect place to stay in this beautiful region! If you enjoy a bit of nostalgia and reading about the history of this hotel on the website, then this is the place for you! The staff is extremely friendly and goes out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. We experienced this firsthand when, after a long and lovely walk, the hotel owner welcomed us at 9:30 pm, even though the kitchen was already closed. We were still treated to a delicious meal of salad, bread, and various types of charcuterie. The breakfast is extensive and delicious, and the rooms are cozy and impeccably clean. It is convenient to be able to dine on-site in the evening after a wonderful day, with the option of choosing between the simple yet tasty bistro or the restaurant. Just across the street, there are beautiful walks to enjoy. The tourist office is also nearby. The rooms are cozy, clean, and spacious enough, with a small terrace overlooking the vegetable garden. The only improvement could be replacing the shower curtain with a glass door. Overall, the rooms receive a rating of 4, while the service and location both earn a perfect score of 5. Highlights of the hotel include the great view, peaceful surroundings, and excellent value.

After a long walk, we decided to stop at Le Cigalon's terrace for coffee and a cappuccino. The cappuccino tasted more like a latte and the coffee was only lukewarm. Additionally, we were charged an extra €0.10 fee for using a debit card. Overall, we would not recommend this place. Service rated at 3.

We enjoyed a delicious tart with prawns on the terrace on a beautiful day. It was simply wonderful.
