Avaliação da contribuiçãoMy husband and I attended the Mount Duneed estate today Friday we had been given a $100.00 gift voucher the Bill came to $90.50 and was told there would be no change or gift voucher for the remanding $9.50 I personal would take that as theft. We were given a table near the door and had a cold draft hit us every time the door opened. The meal was cold. We left most of the meal. We then ordered dessert to share and coffee and decided to move to the couch in the corner out of the cold draft. We waited for our coffee hoping it would be nice and hot as it was a wet cold day out sadly it was cold we then waited for dessert eventually coming after we had finished our coffee. I would not recommend The Fork Signed J. Stagg
Very ordinary. Cafetaria food at restaurant prices. How is it possible for beef brisket to be so dry must have been cooked for 12 hours. Gnocchi was flavourless. Pork sliders ok, calamari quite good. Wine chardonnay) insipid, but apple cider was excellent.
I was with a group and we had the shared 'finger food ' menu. Although the food was nice it was a bit slow being delivered, especially given they were not particularly busy this Sunday. The surprise came when most of us were looking fwd to a coffee after our meal, only to be told they had run out of coffee beans. For a venue like this, I found it unbelievable. Surely a quick dash to the supermarket to purchase coffee beans would have been less embarrassing?
We lunched at Mt Duneed Estate recently in a group of four and were all disappointed with the meals. The menu is not extensive and offers mainly casual or share dishes. Our table ordered flatbread and dips as a starter, the bread was fresh, dips yummy and in generous quantities. Our mains, Open Souvlaki, Chicken Sliders and Bangers’n’Mash were all underwhelming, dry, poorly presented and lacked any “wow” factor, we could’ve done better at an ordinary country pub! The dining area is cavernous but tastefully decorated so no complaints about that, the staff are also friendly and proficient. There’s nothing special about this venue and I would have to think very hard before returning again for a meal.
Arrived for lunch it was a Saturday and obviously it was going to be busy and the service was terrible the staff where very nice but just not enough staff for the number of people, extremely slow we sat for 15 mins after we ordered drinks, then ordered food and it was very slow coming out then it was full of people and we ordered more food and it took 30 mins and to get another dink as well, it was a pitty as the food was very good.
