Avaliação da contribuiçãoGreat atmosphere and very friendly staff. A true family environment. The food quality varied and in my opinion Lukas is not a fine dining establishment. Arugala salad was excellent, I had the Pan seared shrimp and scallop for an entrée. This was obviously pre-prepared with rice and shrimp way overcooked and lacking in taste. Not freshly made. The seafood salad was excellent. My wife had the seafood crepe which was also pre-prepared. We had a great time and worth the visit. We will be visiting again soon.
I am writing this while still sitting in the restaurant which usually means things were not all that great. For $285 for four people I am very disappointed. I had really high hopes for the restaurant but it was mediocre at best. First of all, our waiter Viny did not smile the entire evening we saw him. In fact the whole staff looks extremely stoic although the bussers seem to be more friendly. It was a cross between simply not wanting to be at work and maybe the guy had major home problems. The fact that the restaurant also passes on the credit card fee to me is a strike against them. Don’t ding me $7 more on almost $300 without excellent service. the cowboy ribeye was just OK, and the onion rings tasted like they were possibly from the freezer. The ladies enjoy their salads very much The entrees sea bass and champagne seafood crepes) The garlic shrimp appetizer is not Portuguese style it’s very Mediterranean and was good not outstanding. The lobster bisque was served lukewarm, the martini not cold damn! I’m reminding myself that I sound crotchety but overall the value just wasn’t there. We skipped dessert AMD waited over 10 minutes for the check. With all the competition around, give this one a pass.
Love this place. The manager (owner? makes amazing recommendations and humors me when I select bottles based on pretty labels or quirky names. Nice place to hit up for a summer stock up. Well organized and friendly staff.
Great selection. moody person working there. ignored some customers to pay attention to a friend. she was also constantly complaining about customers. so sad to see a great business with a great selection ruined by an awful person.
We were really looking forward to having our anniversary dinner here. We ordered the calamari which was ok for a seafood restaurant. We were looking forward for something better. we each had s stake for dinner. When we got the stake it was soaking in melted butter. I had to ask for paper napkins so I could remove the oil from the stake. We could not finish it because we both got such bad heartburn. The napkins were left on my plate . When the Waiter asked how our food was we made a comment about the stake soaking in butter. He said it’s normal. I have been in many stake housing and this was a first. If you are thinking of going to a stake house I would not recommend this place . Few hours after eating i still have heat burns.
