Farmer's Fridge - Warren Park

This wonderful vending machine is located in the MAIN LOBBY of St. Vincent hospital. Thank you fellow Yelpers for the tip? Excellent sandwiches perfect for a quick healthy lunch or snack. Unfortunately some of us have family members who are very ill and in the hospital for days. As a care giver we have to remember to take care of ourselves so we can take of our love ones! I'm so happy Farmers Fridge is located in the hospital! No crappy cafeteria food

This is a great addition to the hospital; convenient, fresh and well priced. There are several options for breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks. I purchased hard boiled eggs (2 in a jar) and pineapple coconut chia pudding. The chia pudding is so tasty! I want to try an oat bowl or another yogurt bowl. Other tasty things I 'm eyeing are the Baja Chicken Wrap, Harvest Salad and Falafel bowl. Looking for the best by date I noticed my jars are stamped with a donate by date. Curious, I looked on their website and they donate any un-purchased jars to local community pantries or shelters. Expired items are composted (if they are compostable items). You are able to reuse the jars, throw them in your recycling bin or return it to the Farmer 's Fridge for recycling. I 'm going to use a few for lunches I make at home and then return the rest to the fridge. Location: I appreciate the detailed directions on where to find the fridge, as it 's in a slightly hidden area unless you are walking towards the fridge. It would be great if they added a few more throughout the hospital and one at the children 's hospital side would be good.
