Pańska 85 - Warsaw

Been there for breakfast. Great food, nice staff, top location and atmosphere.

Terrible long service, the duck waited about 1.5 hours, and promised 40 minutes. Forgot to bring dessert that was included in the order. Dirty dishes were not cleaned on the table for a long time ...

9/10 A very tasty place to enjoy delicious Chinese cuisine in the heart of the Warsaw skyscraper district. Live music is smooth and improves the character of the place. It could be a 10/10, but the food is just an illuminated too sharp, also for aficionados.

The ambiance and the staff are wonderful. The piano music was a great bonus. However, the food, didn’t impress me as much. The high points of the meal for me were the spring rolls and the dessert, but I’ve had better for less in Warsaw. I was really disappointed with the tofu but it might just be my personal taste (I forgot to take a photo in the beginning of the meal so it’s already half eaten in the photo). Nevertheless I appreciate the uniqueness of the restaurant. So I think I’ll return in the future and hopefully improve my review.

Update: food was served in broken bowl. When I told the waitress, she just said okay and walked away. This is extreme form of disrespect in Asian culture to serve broken rice bowl. The Asian owner should check the waitress attitude. Overall, Panska 85 is one of the best place in Warsaw for Chinese in terms of ambience, quality of food, and authenticity of Chinese cuisine. Most times and in many cities, you get a Chinese restaurant with oily food but nice decor or a Chinese restaurant with nice food but ugly decor. Panska 85 strikes a good balance with their decor and quality of food! However, 4 stars because: 1. Love getting their business lunch takeaways but when you take out the lunch, the food is slightly different in terms of what is advertised on Facebook which is a bummer. 2. Dine in was a much better experience. The restaurant is nicely decorated and service is good except for one waitress who always takes my plate away without asking if I am done. She’s always there for lunch service and am surprised she doesn’t know to ask. I thought it’s customer service 101. Improve on this and I will change my review to 5 stars!
