All items were delicious, my only gripe was the bill was a little high given the order. The second morning we went back and got a more budget friendly order of Overnight Oats (only $6) with some coffee. Again we were happy with our delicious food. The oats came in a plastic cup and at first we thought it wouldn’t be enough food, but we were both feeling full and ready to start the day when we finished. There was some internal construction going on that morning, and it was extremely loud inside the restaurant.
The staff didn't really know what vegan is but let me check the ingredient list of the breads. The Greek toast without Feta is vegan, for example. It's a rustic bread with hummus, tomatoes, olives.
I enjoyed the avocado toast and acai bowl. Their smoothies are delicious. However, the prices here are really high. Not an every day breakfast place, but a nice special treat once in awhile. They also don't have a substitute for honey such as agave for their bowls and smoothies.
The avocado toast, dare I say it, had way too much avocado. It really was overwhelming. The marinated tomatoes were not great either. The smoothies were pretty solid though. The real insult is the prices. $84 for 4 pieces of toast and 2 small smoothies. I'm not even kidding. For $84 it should have been amazing and incredible and instead it was very basic and blah.
Stinking hot day outside, so glad I found this place. Had their green smoothie. Winner!
