I had some food from here while visiting a friend in DC. the costumer service was good. The dining area was kind small and not much room to move about. they have an upstairs area where you can eat, but i would say it can only fit around 20 people max. The mood its self was meh, i had the shawarma and it was really simple and okay, there's nothing special about it, but it wasn't bad, it was alright, 3 stars from me
Very nice and friendly staff. The place is very cozy too.The food is great. The meat is soft and tasty.I really liked having the smell of charcoal on the sandwich.
Was racially harassed and almost physically attacked at this place charcoal town shawarma in DC. literally shaking right now. they gave me the wrong order (red meat which i cannot eat without getting physically ill and i bit into it) came back and complained and asked for a refund. the manager agreed when i asked to just get what i ordered. waited for 20 minutes and other people (white patrons) were getting their orders before me. I said something obviously upset and the manager started yelling at me. his employees (2 of them) had to hold him back from charging at me and coming into my space. they calmed him down and i thought i was still getting my food waited another 15 minutes to still get nothing. I asked if i was getting my food and he said he was still deciding if i was getting it. obviously was furious at that point started arguing, he called me slurs. it was such a simple interaction that could 've been fixed.
They have rats. Douchebags said they are better than anyone else in the store. Closed early. Please, stay away.
