Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe dining experience was fantastic. The first bite felt a bit bland, but as I continued to eat, the flavors began to come alive. The sweet and savory flavors were fresh and delicious. The chips were slightly salty, but overall, the customer service was excellent. I had been wanting to try this restaurant and I finally did today, with no regrets. The mango juice was refreshing and tasted like a mix of Greek water and mango juice. The atmosphere of the restaurant was well thought out and the prices were reasonable. I am already looking forward to my next visit. The outdoor seating was just as beautiful as the interior. I appreciated the option to recycle waste, although I wish they offered wooden recyclable straws.
Food Lab does the Pepe thing from the José Andrés culinary universe, similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe but with less CGI. Pepe is a food truck known for sandwiches, but this pop-up offers much more. I wasn't very hungry, but decided to stop by to avoid being famished later on. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for $6 and a cold tomato soup served in a drinkable container for $3. On another visit, I tried the tomato bread for $3, consisting of two pieces of warm crusty bread with tomato and salt - a heavenly treat for that price. Salads are priced at $7, which I find a bit steep considering I have other salad options nearby. They also offer cold sandwiches, but I prefer other places for that. The place is clean and has retained its charm from its previous iteration as a Native Foods vegan spot.
