Cafe Khao Neow - Wasilla

I love this place. I come in every time I'm in town for work for the authentic Lao dishes. Chicken noodle soup is great for those cold days. I also enjoy their cute baskets and decor.

Easily the best restaurant in Wasilla, with a large variety of appetizers, soups, salads, meats and great vegetarian options. We ordered the beef labb and it was beyond our expectations, so delicious ???? Service was amazing!!! If you haven?t tried thisplace, you?re definitely missing out. Also, the owners are the sweetest people! ??????????

The staff was very friendly and prompt! the food was delivered within reasonable time, and the restaurant was very clean! (incl. bad) the food was delicious! I recommend it very much!

Best restaurant in Wasilla. Delicious food and great service. Still plenty of options for me since I've switched to a mostly meatless diet. They have the best spring rolls I've ever had, they are big and full of fresh herbs and the sauce is perfect. I recommend the crispy pork (crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside) or steak (it's cooked perfectly every time, never tough) for the meat options with sticky rice and jeow dipping sauces. The crispy lao salad, pho, and chicken noodle soup are amazing as well. For meatless, the tofu broccoli entree, tofu laab, and curry noodle soup are my favorites. The khua mee stir fried noodles and any of the fried rice (but especially the basil curry fried rice) are incredible too! For appetizers, the tofu in ginger sauce, steam buns, and spring rolls are my favorites. Can you tell I've had almost the whole menu? The vibe is always so peaceful in there too with the nice music they play and I love that they always have one of my favorite food vloggers Mark Wiens on the TV lol.

Nice little mom and pop Laotian restaurant. The waitress wasn't the friendliest person, but not rude. The food is Laotian, not Chinese, not Cantonese or Japanese. Just Laotian, so don't expect anything else. That said, it was good Laotian food, and if that's what you are looking for, this is the place to go.
