Kambo Thai - Waterford

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant the other night. We both had three courses and enjoyed all of them. The servers were friendly and attentive. The wine selection was decent. We felt that the prices were fair for the quality of food we received. Our three-star rating is not a criticism of the restaurant, but rather a reflection of the fact that it meets the expectations of a local Thai/Asian restaurant. We would definitely return and recommend it to our friends.

Order from this Restaurant 3 days ago. Placed a phone order for takeaway and was told to collect in 30 minutes Waiting in the restaurant for over an hour for food. Total waiting time was 90 minutes Only 3 tables booked in the restaurant Staff not helpful Will not be ordering from here again

We have eaten from kambo quite a bit and it was always OK however we ordered a takeaway with delivery and it took an hour and a half to get here through ordering from just eat. When the food arrived it was cold!

Lived across from this little gem for almost a year before I tried the food, and I am disappointed I lost a whole year of eating there food! I am not ashamed to admit living 2 minutes away I have only ordered a take out and yes I have it delivered, but it just means food is still piping hot when it arrives, thought it was a bit pricey at first but food quality is fabulous and worth every cent. I will continue to order from here and maybe one day I won't be so lazy and will dine in.

It is unfortunate for me to have to write this, as my family has been ordering from Kambo for years. Our most recent takeout experience was very disappointing, especially the prawn Chinese curry. The prawns were dry, shriveled, and extremely rubbery. I urge the restaurant to review the quality of their ingredients before they lose more customers.
