701 Main Restaurant Bar - Waxhaw

The service was very slow, the waitress was sick. Food had no meat expectancy, portions were meager. Meatloaf wasn't very good. They were from cattle tips. The prices of everything are about 2 dollars more than what is published on the websites. No one came to get our payment, no water reps.

Beef tips are amazing! Everything I have tried here is really good from the filet kabobs bacon cheese fries and the ranch dressing the rice onion rings fries chicken filet sandwich chicken pita are all good

My husband tried this restaurant for lunch really enjoyed it so we went with friends for dinner . We all were very happy with our meals , our server Tristan was great took good care of us , food was delicious , we enjoyed it so much that we will be going back in August . Plenty of parking , ample seating in restaurant , restrooms were clean stocked with paper towels tissue . Our group ordered seafood dinners , flounder , a combo of flounder shrimp , both of which I tasted so I could write about it . Seafood was nicely prepared , not greasy , delicious . My husband had steak which was prepared as he requested , very nicely cooked tasted delicious, I ordered a grilled chicken salad chicken noodle soup , salad was wonderful with grilled seasoned chicken sliced on top , soup was homemade with herbs large egg noodles scrumptious. We were brought some delicious yeast rolls that were warm with plenty of butter . Dessert we share chocolate tuxedo cake , so sinfully delicious . Try 701 Main restaurant, they are worth it !!

Great meals!!! Wife had Broiled Flounder, which was great. Beautiful large portion, fresh and taste was excellent. I had a cheeseburger that was so good (flame broiled) that I didn't even use the ketchup and mustard that I was ready to use there. Our waitress Jenna was also fantastic! Very recommended.

My grilled chickens and potatoes were very good. I also had one side of mixed vegetables, but I'm not a big vegetable fan. I was there for a birthday party, so I had a limited choice. I will return and update my review.
