Like with the salmon I got fried rice, vegetables, an egg roll, salad, soup, a crab Rangoon, and sushi! Like I’m genuinely out here at work about to cry tears of joy because of how good the food was.
$15 for a bento box lunch special. A lot of food and it was very good. The service was on point and everything came quickly.
I had a friend visiting from out of town, and I wanted to find a nice elevated dining place in Clear Lake. Luckily, I found Masa! To summarize my review before it begins, Masa is now my destination if I am craving sushi and Japanese food. The atmosphere was elegant, which makes it stand out from other surrounding sushi restaurants. We started off with cold sake and Ahi Poké Nachos, which were crispy and delicious. My friend and I split Sushi Combo C, which features 20 pieces of assorted sushi with California and Spicy Tuna rolls. The sushi was very fresh and skillfully made. The Tamago was freshly made with the traditional chopstick method. This was the best sushi I have had since I dined at Nobu in Las Vegas. Our companions had the chicken katsu Bento Boxes because they wanted an assortment of things to try. The tempura battered shrimp and vegetables were lightly crunchy and delicate. After dinner, the four of us had a round of Ninja Drop martinis, which were tangy and sweet. The owner, Michael Zhou (pronounced zjoe , came over to say hi. He encouraged us to try one of his favorite items, the Ahi Tuna Tartare, which was spectacular. To finish, we had a couple of bottles of hot sake alongside some yummy mochi ice cream. Our experience was amazing. Our server, Jordan, took great care of us, and we all had a great time. I was looking for an elevated experience, and I got exactly what I was looking for and more. I can 't wait to eat here again and try other things on the amazing menu!
Have not had Sushi in years. Alex and I enjoyed a dinner at this local Japanese eatery. Sautéed Edamame, Chicken broth and Mushrooms, House Salad with Ginger Dressing, Spicy Salmon Sashimi and Miso Soup for appetizers. Entrees included Katsu Don (deep fried pork egg over rice), and Unaju Don (BBQ fresh water eel over rice). Eel was a first for me, very delicious and tender. Very nice atmosphere and service. Everyone should enjoy it.
Wonderful happy hour which is everyday after 4 i think. On Monday nights there is half off nigiri which is unheard of. Great quality like always!! None of the nigiri I got was fishy (sake, hamachi, hamachi belly, and scallop). The beef sashimi appetizer on the happy hour menu is bomb. Will definitely be back!!
