Frey's Ole Crawfish Barn Inc - Welsh

Only 2 miles from my mothers house, This was an old barn converted into a restaurant several years back. The atmosphere is home town cajun and the food is very good. During crawfish season they provide boiled crawfish nightly.

Super impressed with the food and atmosphere of this restaurant. Definitely recommend getting the bacon wrapped shrimp as an appetizer. Crawfish were tasty as was the cajun burger. Service was fast and very attentive. Will definitely be coming back the next time I'm passing through.

Great crawfish and sauce, can be ordered mild or extra hot, service is ok, atmosphere is rustic and casual. Kinda loud too.

If you want boiled crawfish, this is the place to go. If you want great seafood of all sorts, go here. The crawfish etoufee is delicious, and so is the crawfish salad. I had froglegs (which is a guilty pleasure) and was delighted. This is a real family restaurant; bring the kids, the siblings, the aunts and uncles. You can't go wrong with any dish.

We went with a party of around 10 people and Mitch was our waiter. Great food for reasonable prices! We had everything on the menu from alligator to shrimp and oysters!!! Can’t complain at all! What a great small town eatery! ASK FOR MITCH!!!
