Avaliação da contribuiçãoWhatever the various opinions about the previous restaurant was, is history. the new ivy house is great. friendly waiter service, fast order, good prices, nice location, airy, light, spacious, good atmosphere etc. The opening times are similar to the groves children's rooms, so the evening meal. no option as most garden center restaurants. since the opening were MANNY times present and always enjoyed it
Went to groves for Sunday evening dinner and they really have top game, a great Sunday lunch, as the bark was tender and a good selection of sweet and extra gravy if required. they seem to get it right.
As a visitor to the area I enjoyed a warm welcome from the lady on the serving counter. I took my elderly mother with me to enjoy hot drinks and scones. We both fancied a cheese scone but they were so large we decided to...share one, it was delicious. The cafe was busy with a varied clientele enjoying full breakfasts, drinks, snacks and cakes which all added up to creating a lovely atmosphere. I will definitely call again when I next visit the area.
With friends we asked to the switch for 11.20, the remains what was available and gave menus on the table discussed what we have to order and was told that we do not serve hot again for 1/2 hour, no. explanation from manager only they have to wait until 12. what kind of a business that they need to make the information not available as they just order. unnecessary to say that we got up and went out so that they lost 4 customers in a hit.
Juni helps, of course, but this is really the most beautiful garden center we have ever visited. the roses were spectacular and there were many happy bees that agreed! I love crimson and there is the equivalent of a physical garden here that was...functional, beautiful and aspirational (only before the stunning ivy house kitchen).
