Avaliação da contribuiçãoUsed to be fish and chip night once a week back in the day and it was always our local the Prossie fish shop. They still have the prime chips but minimum is minimal and the flake used to be thick and fresh ! But it was a thin fillet and definitely not worth the price. Apparently this is standard now , feed back from friends . Might try once more b4 I head back over the West .
Service is great Fish is great Highly recommend you don't buy their chips, they are less then a handful and terrible value for money. Their fish and burgers are really nice. It's a real shame their chips are so overpriced for such a tiny amount that wouldn't fill a baby. It's a real let down considering how great all their other food is..
Have heard people asking where the best fish and chip shop is in Launceston, and the replies were Prospect fish and chips so thought we had better check it out. Got there just on lunch, which was lucky as only a couple before us so we were served quickly and didn't wait long at all but shop was filling. Packs were good value meaning you would go back and the meal was good. Only thing I didn't like I ordered grilled fish and chips and they didn't do it, probably cause they get so busy. Will go again
Local fish and chip shop so does a busy trade of a night so get in early but if you have to wait it is worth it.
Very busy place. Interestingly, fish is already prepped and displayed, then cooked to order. Waiting time was reasonable, good portions and delicious food. Easy to park behind the shop.
