The Elm Tree - West Oxfordshire

I can’t believe this gem was hiding In Plain Sight. Four of us went for Sunday lunch. The food was fantastic a very friendly atmosphere did I mention the food. A brilliant Sunday lunch and it’s excellent value for money. We’re definitely going back SOON

A fabulous Sunday lunch at the Elm Tree with a friend. Nothing was too much trouble for this friendly team of staff. We prebooked as we know this venue is popular and arrived at our reserved table to find a table decoration which showed attention to detail. The roast lunch was second to none. There were two choices of meats and choices about whether meat was served well done or rare. The potatoes were crispy and there was a range of fresh vegetables. We followed this course with a scrumptious eton mess, made with tasty meringue and lemon. Can thoroughly recommend! Whats not to like? We wiill be back!

Four of us had a tasty Sunday lunch but all would have preferred the veg to be separate as it used to be. Staff are so welcoming and would recommend we will definitely be back.
