Hollyburn Country Club is an exclusive country club located on a hill in the British Properties of West Vancouver. We were very fortunate to receive an invitation from a member to attend the New Year's Eve Bash at Hollyburn Country Club as it is normally open to members only.This was a family friendly event with an early 9pm countdown to the New Year, and it was truly a bash! Buffet dinner which included some premium quality seafood, a photo booth, a dance floor with a disco ball spinning above, a DJ, and pyrotechnics. It was our daughter's first time dancing on a dance floor and she had the time of her life on that dance floor.Even after the 9pm countdown, our daughter stayed and danced about an extra half hour on the dance floor. Then we went back to Grandma's house and stayed up for Countdown #2...the midnight countdown.I do have to admit that the service could have been better. The people working there didn't come around to collect our plates as frequently as they do at other buffets that we've been to. Overall though, we had a fabulous time and if we ever get invited back to Hollyburn Country Club again, we'll be there in a heartbeat. It was an awesome way to ring in the new year. It’s a great club in one of the best neighborhoods in town. The lounge food and vibe was amazing with a perfect view of the tennis tournament.
