Jw's Brasserie - Westport

This restaurant is fantastic. The service is excellent and lightning fast. The food is delicious and the interior is filled with intricate details that are worth admiring, especially the dishes.

Ate out here last week. Both main meals were nice. However, got a pot of mussels for the table. Mussels were foul smelling and tasting. Asked the waiter to remove them from the table as the urine smell was very off putting. Told him our concerns and he said the smell was from the sauce and was normal. We were still charged for these unfortunately. Service was good other than that.

The food at this restaurant is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend it.

We came here 14 years ago with a large group of family after hiking to the top of Mt. Croagh Patrick so we figured a return trip after the same this trip would be worth it. It absolutely was. Food was excellent. Staff was friendly and attentive. Had a great beer and drink selection. We pretty much had a private room for lunch as a walk-in group. Hard to top that.

We had made a reservation for dinner at this restaurant and found the food to be delicious and the portion size to be just right.
