Avaliação da contribuiçãoThe lunch menu at this restaurant is great, with reasonable prices. Everything was incredibly fresh and natural. The service was quick and friendly too!
While not quite traditional Irish pub fare, this restaurant offered delicious food and attentive service. No complaints here. Located within a hotel, the atmosphere was relaxed and uncrowded.
I recently visited The Mill in September and ordered carvery dinners. When they arrived, they looked small and lacking on the plate. Despite not having any children with us, the meals resembled children's portions. I requested more vegetables and mashed potatoes, which were eventually brought to us. We also asked for a jug of water, which came without ice and tasted lukewarm. The food was average at best. When we went to pay, I was surprised to see an extra charge for the additional potatoes. The extra vegetables included only a small portion of broccoli and sliced carrots. The service was subpar, with the waitress coming across as unfriendly and disinterested in her job. It was evident that she was not passionate about her work.
Our large group adults, kids) were searching for a place to eat on a Monday evening in Westport and ended up here because our first and second choices were full and we needed someplace with plenty of room for our crew. The Mill...Times Hotel had space in their bar area and a children's menu so we decided to give it a try. The menu had a decent selection and mid-range prices. The server was nice but seemed a bit inept. We asked to have the kids' meals come out as soon as they were ready because the kids were starving, but she said that everything had to come out together. It was really confusing to us and we kept repeating our request as she approached the table at different times to deliver drinks, etc. in the end, the kids did get their food first and they were happy with their pizza, garlic bread, and chicken goujons. I ordered the fish chips and only ate the chips. The fish was a tiny portion with the skin still on it, and it did not taste good at all. Another adult got the lamb and was pleased with it. The last couple got a salad and a pizza and they said they were okay nothing special. Overall, I would say that other restaurants in Westport would be better choices than this.
Wonderful. We had a stater of mussels between us and they were so so good that we ordered a second, then fish chips; both were fresh and delicious. Child had a pizza to her liking which meant she ate most of it. Service was...fine. Pints were nice too. Worth every penny.
