The Hotdog Stand - Westport

So nice to have a long-standing, consistently good deli in Westport rather than the poorly staffed deli chains around town. I’ve never had a bad meal from JR’s. Great breakfast sammies. Today I had a roast beef on a roll with horsie mayo, Swiss, lettuce tomato. It was SO tasty. The roast beef was warm and very tender…might have been seasoned a little too. In any event, for $11 it was very worth it- tons of roast beef. Keep up the good work, JR’s!

Very good diner-style breakfast and lunch. Come for the food, water view and small talk with the friendly owner, staff and patrons. Small, simple and dated interior which personally, I find very charming.

Great food. Friendly staff. And the rolls are not only different but delicious. 10/10 would return.

Had the special steak grinder it was top notch meat very fresh. Also had breakfast highly recommended the big bad wolf it was amazing if you like spicy!! Great staff very friendly and professional
