Staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. Asked me where I was from and what I was planning to get up to while in town. Not at all busy but I was early for lunch. Meatlovers pizza was fantastic. Live music will be playing later tonight, so hopefully I can make it back in time.

Was up in Whangarei for a gig with the band, and they had organized lunch here for the group. On a Saturday afternoon it was pretty empty, which was good to accommodate our large group (you can make bookings in advance). There was covered outside seating with heaters, good for the chilly winter afternoon. They've got a few house beers on tap light, medium, and dark, as well as an alcoholic ginger beer. Their main food option is wood fired pizza, lot of topping varieties. It was not gourmet pizza, but solid, satisfying, with a good amount of toppings on each pizza they didn't skimp. The standout food wise was their nice fat chips... they were perfectly crispy outside, soft inside, and properly hot. Bottom line solid option for a beer and some chips, a quick pizza if you're in town. Nothing fancy, nice folks...

Stumbled into this place and decided to try a pizza and was very surprised to find a Chicago style pizza. I had the meat lovers. Pizza is medium crust and loaded. Twelve inch version plenty for two. My wife had the seafood and was very pleased. If you like your pizzas loaded and your beer cold ... dis is da place.
