Like all other mountain restaurants, too expensive, do not take cash, enormous reduction in food quality, only fast food now, ironing stopped. Very poor
A lively place, but well furnished, so snakes go down quickly. Food is very good with a large selection. The soup was always super
Vegan soup and good reservation system for Covid We are vegan to save the planet and for our health. We stopped eating here twice. We were also here many times as we ski every year (except 2021! . The new system for table...reservation is good and makes it much easier - I hope they continue with it. My previous review complained about problems getting a table and said “ Nice for a quick bite at lunch and stop a warming and bath. As with all other mountain restaurants, try to go some before or after lunch, as all mountain restaurants get VERY crowded. We went at 11.45. The food here is good. I had a soup every day. I find it annoying that I have to go up and down in my ski boots to get to the Ploo. Space is a problem and not really its fault.” This continues, but the reservation system has improved things and people are limited to 45 minutes. The vegan soup was good. The Loos were fine, but still a walk up and down and c=vaccine check not so good here. Overall good for mountain dinner and I hope they will continue the booking system to Covid.
This was my first trip to Whistler and Blackcomb, so I am not sure what the full menu offering looks like. However, I felt there was sufficient choice of hearty meals to sustain a skier for the day. There were choices of burgers etc, as...well as chilli, soup, lots of snacks, drinks and beer. I especially liked that water was available for free. I had the soup here a couple of times and it was delicious and served with a roll.
