Avaliação da contribuiçãoOrdered a fairly large order on skip. Will be the last time I ever order again. You can tell food was cooked in a rush and was very tasteless.Hot and sour soup tasted more like water.Pad Thai was more like plain noodles.Rice had unseasoned chicken just mixed with the Manchurian rice.0/10!
Absolutely awful the beef Szechuan look like it had just been piled with chili sauce.
Larry gave us great service. The food was great. Big portions! So big that we had an entire meal left to bring home. Making Scarborough peeps feel better moving to Durham
Do not come here. I have been here twice. The first time they said their prices have changed from the time I called to place the order to when I picked it up. That's fine, the food was good so it was somewhat forgivable. This time I just couldn't let it go. I walked in and she asked if I was there for takeout and I said I'll order now. Then she asked for my phone number which I gave her and she said she couldn't find my order. I told her I haven't ordered yet so she asked for my name. I went in with every intention to get the chili fish and when I saw there was a special, I asked about it. The lady at the counter advised no specials today (Labour Day . Again, understandable. I asked if it was possible to get the chili fish on noodles and she said it had to be pan noodles and I asked what pan noodles were and she said egg noodles. Okay, no problem. I paid and walked around the plaza while waiting for the food.Returned and she asked for my number again which I gave and she couldn't find. I told her my name and my order and she's like oh you were just here and I confirmed I was here about 10 minutes before and told her my order. She told me I ordered the chili chicken with noodles and I said I didn't. She then firmly stated saying I did and I told her I didn't eat chicken (at times I don't because of a texture preference . She continued to tell me I ordered the chicken because there was no fish special. I told her I took into account there was no special for the fish but at no point did I change my protein. She then told me it would be $2 extra for the fish and I told her the difference in the menu was $0.49 for the change from chicken to fish. She said it was because they don't do noodles. I told her she had already charged me for the noodles. She went to the kitchen and came out saying she will charge $1 more and it will be on rice. I told her I already paid for the noodles and that I would like a refund instead. At this point she refused to give me a refund and said she will accept the $0.50 which I gave to her which she didn't even put it into the till. She then told me that I should make sure I know what to order next time because she's so busy. (please note there were four seated guests who were already wrapping up with their meal and no one else in the restaurant at this time. Even if she is busy in ways I cannot see at the time, I don't think it's right for her to be pushing food I didn't order to me especially if I had advised her I didn't eat chicken. What if someone had a dietary restriction? This will be my last visit to this establishment.
I literally just had their Thai basil chicken and let me tell you. This is not Thai food. It was literally tasteless. The only thing that was decent was the spring roll, but even President's Choice can't screw that up. Very disappointed.
