At The Mallyan Spout Goathland - Whitby

The restaurant had lovely decor and great service. However, I was disappointed with the small portion and lack of flavor in my starter of scallops and black pudding. On the other hand, the cheese bacon was delicious and I enjoyed my fries. I would consider returning in the future.

The restaurant offers generous portions of delicious food in a lovely setting. It can be a bit quiet, so you may prefer to sit in the bar or lounge areas, where you can still enjoy the same menu.

This was my first time dining at this hotel and I was not disappointed. It was a great choice for an evening meal while staying in the area. The staff gave us a warm welcome and there was an excellent selection of spirits for pre-dinner drinks.

Our visit was for our 30th anniversary dinner. Food was excellent and the service perfect. We were even given a bottle of Presecco from the hotel to help us celebrate! So thoughtful! Highly recommended

Was visiting the area. Lucky enough to find this place for dinner . Staff were lovely and helpful food wad fantastic. Definitely will return.
